Handlery Foundation Donates $10,000 to the CHLA Education Foundation

Sacramento, CA – The Handlery Foundation is giving back to the hospitality community through a $10,000 donation to the California Hotel & Lodging Association Education Foundation (CHLAEF) scholarship program.

The Handlery Foundation has been a tremendous supporter of the CHLA Education Foundation for many years and supports its mission to foster the education of our future hospitality industry leaders. The Handlery family has been an active member of the California Hotel & Lodging Association for two generations, with Jon Handlery, President of Handlery Hotels, sitting on the CHLA board of directors, for many years.

“This generous donation demonstrates the Handlery Foundation’s commitment to the future of our industry.” noted CHLAEF President, Candace Savage. “The need to support and mentor hospitality students is crucial to their success, and ultimately to California’s hospitality industry.  We greatly appreciate the support of the Handlery Foundation.”

Hundreds of students and lodging industry employees have benefited from the generosity of the Handlery Foundation and CHLA Education Foundation thanks them for their commitment and encourages others in supporting the future of our industry.
