Hotel Association of Los Angeles Welcomes New Executive Director, Announces CHLA Management Agreement

LOS ANGELES, CA – (Dec. 6, 2018) – The Hotel Association of Los Angeles (HALA) announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Heather Rozman as the organization’s new Executive Director, bringing with her almost two decades of experience in association management, government and community relations, political campaigning, and business development.

The Association also announced it has entered into a management agreement with the California Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA), which is recognized as the most influential state lodging association in the nation. CHLA will provide HALA with organizational, administrative and communication support so HALA can focus on advocacy efforts for the Los Angeles hotel industry.

Mohrfeld, CAE. “She brings an exceptional combination of energy, industry knowledge and proven leadership that will help her continue HALA’s excellent work, expand memberships and bring our industry’s advocacy efforts to the next level.”

Prior to joining HALA, Heather managed Community Programs for several major infrastructure construction projects across the country, totaling approximately $4 billion in capital costs. Heather grew up in Madison, Wis., attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and interned for U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold before joining his campaign team as Field Organizer. She currently serves as Commissioner on the West Los Angeles Area Planning Commission, appointed by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.
