Heidi Kamas , Assistant General Manager , SeaCrest OceanFront Hotel

Heidi Kamas graduated from Northern Arizona University in August of 2009, with a bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management. Throughout college, she worked in the housekeeping and breakfast department at the Inn at NAU. After college, she did an internship in Belize for 3 months before becoming Assistant Housekeeping Manager at the Westward Look Resort in Tucson, AZ. In May of 2011, she took a leap of faith and moved to the Central Coast of California. Ms. Kamas started working at the SeaVenture part-time then worked my way up to Front Office Manager there. After 8 years she was ready for a new challenge and found a new home at the SeaCrest OceanFront Hotel as the Assistant General Manager.

Rose Cerato, Sales Executive , Stayntouch

Rose Cerato is an innovative and entrepreneurial executive with over 30 years of sales and marketing leadership experience in the travel and hotel industry. Ms. Cerato began her career as a travel agent for the Crown Travel Group and was quickly promoted to Director of Marketing, where she increased sales to over $2 billion, earning the title of one of the “Most Powerful Women in Travel” by Travel Agent Magazine.

Ms. Cerato then spent eight years with Gannett Media Corporation where she achieved the Gannett’s President Club award for dramatically increasing tourism to Mexico. Ms. Cerato also held a leadership position at SkyTouch Technology, a division of Choice Hotels, where she won numerous awards for consistently increasing the company’s hotel client base. Ms. Cerato currently works at Stayntouch, a global leader in cloud hotel property management systems (PMS), where she leads the company’s sales expansion into the Western United States.

Brandon Burtis , Corporate Director of Revenue Strategy , Pacifica Hotels

Brandon Burtis is the Corporate Director of Revenue Strategy for Pacifica Hotels, overseeing a portfolio of 35+ hotels generating over $200 million in annual revenue. A 15+ year industry leader, Brandon has gained experience through leadership roles with companies including MTM Luxury Lodging, Coast Hotels USA, and Viceroy Hotel Group – providing a breadth and depth of knowledge & experience with various markets, service classes, and product types. Born and raised in Seattle, Brandon joined the hospitality industry in his high school years and never looked back. When not in an Excel spreadsheet, Brandon enjoys hiking with his Beagle, finding the next best Old Fashioned, and of course, traveling.
