Rehiring and Attracting Employees Post-COVID

Past Event
Wednesday, May 12, 2021 10:00am - 11:00am

California is opening back up and employers need to attract and hire team members during a national employee shortage. Employers need to offer what employees want to attract people to come back to work. Join us as we explore what you should consider when attracting potential new hires, rehiring former employees, and how to understand the current state of employee benefits.

Navigating employee shortages and regulations are always a challenge, but even more so with the pandemic. Fisher Phillips will share legal hazards to watch for during the hiring and rehiring process especially in light of the Recall + Retention Law. Additionally, Petra Risk Solutions will share their interpretation of the ‘state of employee health benefits in California’ and what trends are they seeing. Finally, UnitedHealth Care will share healthcare benefit options you can offer to attract employees and rebuild a strong business.
