Rehiring and Attracting Employees Post-COVID

Jeff Thurrell is a Partner in Fisher Phillip’s Irvine office. His practice is focused on defending employment related lawsuits and administrative complaints on a variety of issues, including harassment, retaliation, and discrimination. Jeff represents employers in both state and federal courts as well as before state and federal agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). 

Alliah Sheta is a Program Director for UnitedHealth Group (UHG) and has been with the company since July of 2017. She is a seasoned professional who has a passion for the hospitality industry and helping businesses succeed.  Alliah started her career at the Florida Restaurant Association (now Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA)) as an intern and had the opportunity to serve the FRLA in different roles including her position as the Director of Marketing in 2014 before she moved to California. She has traveled and worked all over the country in several different hospitality roles focused on B2B marketing, communications, community building, and business development. Prior to joining the UHG team, Alliah was the Director of Communications and Community Relations for the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau.  She holds a BS in Public Relations from Florida State University and is also a Certified Destination Management Executive.  

Jennifer Lisanti has been the Director of Sales for over 20 years and is responsible for improving carrier relationships while also driving the statewide sales strategy. She is a go-to resource for timely and insightful industry information, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
