San Francisco Lands WNBA And MLB All-Star Games

San Francisco is adding two more marquee sporting events to its growing lineup. The Bay Area will host the 2027 WNBA All-Star Game at Chase Center on July 31, 2027, marking the first time the league’s premier midseason event will be held in the region. The weekend will also feature All-Star events at Moscone Center and throughout the Bay Area. Then, in 2028, Oracle Park will host the MLB All-Star Game and All-Star Week, including the Home Run Derby, Futures Game and MLB Draft. The announcements further reinforce San Francisco as a major sports-event destination, bringing thousands of visitors and additional demand for hotels, restaurants and other local businesses.
