CHLA Announces 2018 Board of Directors
The California Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA) elected its 2018 Board of Directors at its annual meeting this past Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Westin Verasa in Napa, CA. The 2018 chair will be Scott VandenBerg of the Hyatt Regency Sacramento.
Napa, California – The California Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA) elected its 2018 Board of Directors at its annual meeting this past Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Westin Verasa in Napa, CA. The 2018 chair will be Scott VandenBerg of the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. In addition, the elected officers for the 2018 Board of Directors were announced as Michael Pace, Clift Hotel (Vice Chair); Bijal Patel, Coast Redwood Hospitality (Secretary/Treasurer); and Elvin Lai, Ocean Park Inn (Immediate Past Chair). Other members of the Executive Committee include René Boskoff, Monterey Marriott (Chair of the Gov’t & Legal Relations) and Laurenne Douglas, Pacific Plaza Hotels (Chair of the Audit & Investment Committee).
Three Board Members with expiring terms are renewing their Board positions. These members are: Terri Haack, Terranea Resort; Tom Patton, Ramada Santa Barbara; Mark LeBlanc, Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
There is also one new incoming director, Ross Gimpel, Regional Vice President of PSAV, who will be representing the vendor/supplier segment of the CHLA membership.
