CHLA Victory for Hotels: Court Suspends Notorious ADA Lawyer
Following CHLA’s complaint to the State Bar, the California Supreme Court has suspended notorious ADA filer Peter K. Strojnik. Strojnik, who has burdened hotels with countless frivolous ADA lawsuits, is barred from practicing law for 30 days and placed on probation for one year with strict oversight. “He is a bad actor that needs to leave the stage,” said CHLA President + CEO Lynn S. Mohrfeld. This outcome underscores CHLA’s ongoing commitment to protect California hotels from abusive litigation through its highly successful ADA Protection Program.
