Hotel Management’s 2025 GMs To Watch

Hotel Management has announced its 2025 GMs to Watch, and CHLA is proud to celebrate four standout California leaders featured on this year’s list. Fungai Muzunze of The Lodge at Sonoma Resort brings more than 25 years of global hospitality experience and a people-first leadership style. Sonesh Mool, general manager of the Marriott Beverly Hills, marks his 30th year in the industry, known for his operational excellence and unwavering commitment to guest service. Kenan Tekin, now general manager of the Sheraton Gateway LAX with Burgeon Hotel Group, is recognized for a career spanning two decades that includes leading complex hotel openings, rebranding efforts, and multi-million-dollar turnarounds across major brands and independent lifestyle hotels. Rounding out the group is Frederic Zemmour of L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, whose luxury pedigree—from Michelin-starred training in Paris to leadership in California—continues to set new standards of excellence in the state’s hotel sector.
