California Hotelier Marc Kassouf of Quiet Creek Inn Receives AHLA Star of the Industry Award
CHLA Board Member and CABBI Chair Wins for General Manager of the Year
LOS ANGELES, CA – On Sunday night, Marc Kassouf, Group General Manager of Quiet Creek Inn in Idyllwild, California was named Small General Manager of the Year by the American Hotel & Lodging Association during their annual Stars of the Industry event. The event recognizes the best hoteliers from across the nation and receives hundreds of nominations every year. Award recipients are selected based upon their outstanding accomplishments, service, and leadership in the hospitality industry.
Upon learning about Kassouf’s recognition, Lynn S. Mohrfeld, President & CEO of the California Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA) stated, “We recognized Marc as a rising star in 2018 and couldn’t be more excited to watch Marc’s continued success.” Kassouf received CHLA’s Star of the Industry Award for Small GM of the Year in 2018 – a similarly competitive event that showcases the best hoteliers in California.
“Marc is a stellar hotelier and incredibly active in the lodging community. We’re proud to have him serving on our board of directors and leading the California Association of Boutique & Breakfast Inns’ (CABBI) Council,” Mohrfeld continued. In 2019, Marc Kassouf began serving as the Chair of the CABBI Council and a member of the California Hotel and Lodging Association’s Board of Directors.
