Hotels in U.S. World Cup host cities saw strong performance gains in late June, with RevPAR up 9.6% year over year, driven primarily by higher room rates rather than increased occupancy. Miami, San Francisco, Dallas and Kansas City posted some of the largest gains, with San Francisco seeing RevPAR rise 40.7% for the week ending June 27.
