Inaugural CA Sports Tourism Summit Coming To San Diego

The inaugural California Sports Summit will bring sports tourism organizations, event rights holders and industry leaders from across the state to San Diego January 13–15, 2027, at the InterContinental San Diego. Hosted by the California Sports Coalition, the three-day event will focus on strengthening California’s position as a premier destination for sports events, with sessions covering sports tourism strategy, business development and the proposed State Sports Fund. The Summit will also feature a one-day tradeshow connecting California destinations with sports event rights holders and creating opportunities for statewide collaboration. Visit California and CalTravel are among the organizations supporting the event.
