Joel Brand

Joel Brand is a Managing Director for Crystal & Company, located in the San Francisco Office. He is responsible for managing relationships and brokering placements in a variety of industries including technology, retail, and staffing firms. Joel is also the Western Region Real Estate Practice Group Leader responsible for handling the risk and insurance needs of Crystal & Company’s real estate clients. Our Real Estate Practice works with a wide range of clients with diverse interests and business holdings, including real estate investors, managers, owners, and developers. Joel has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Crystal & Company, Joel was a principal at Epic Brokers, a San Francisco based insurance brokerage. He was responsible for working with new and existing real estate clients and focused primarily on serving real estate developers and property managers. Joel received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from San Jose State University. He also has a Degree in Risk and Insurance from the St. John’s University School of Risk Management.
