CHLA’s Allison Clunis Recognized With National AHLA Foundation Award

We’re thrilled to share that Allison Clunis, CHLA’s Meetings and Events Intern and a final-year student at San Diego State University, has been named one of three national recipients of the 2026 Arthur J. Packard Award from the AHLA Foundation. Allison has been working with CHLA while completing her degree and has made a great contribution to our events, including the upcoming CHLA Hospitality Foundation Scholarship Awards Gala. Congratulations, Allison, on this outstanding national recognition! The AHLA Foundation also awarded more than $817,000 in academic scholarships this year to 256 students pursuing hospitality and related degrees nationwide. California students were well represented, with 33 recipients from six colleges and universities in the state: Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State East Bay, Cal State Long Beach, City College of San Francisco, San Diego State University and the University of San Francisco.
