CHLA Joins Amicus Brief On Grants Pass Review

Last week, CHLA joined an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court asking the court to review and overturn a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decision that further restrained governmental measures used to respond and manage homelessness. Specifically, the Grants Pass decision prohibits civil enforcement of anti-camping ordinances, a significant step beyond the previous prohibition on criminal enforcement of such ordinances.
