Historic San Diego Downtown Hotel Gets A Step Up In Luxury

The 162-room Guild Hotel in downtown San Diego is nearing completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation designed to elevate the property into more of an urban resort. Upgrades include a new outdoor pool, redesigned lobby and bar, curated artwork, retail space, and Zuma, the global Japanese restaurant chain’s first West Coast location. The hotel is also planning expanded wellness offerings, including a future spa, as it looks to attract both overnight guests and local visitors.
