Sacramento’s Aftershock Music Festival Draws Record Crowd

An estimated 180,000 people attended Sacramento’s four-day Aftershock music festival, setting a new attendance record and surpassing the 165,000 attendees in 2025. That influx of visitors is expected to generate about $39 million in local economic impact, according to Visit Sacramento. The festival featured more than 140 bands across five stages, including headliners such as My Chemical Romance, Limp Bizkit, Pierce The Veil and Tool, despite near-record heat. Aftershock is expected to return to Discovery Park in October 2027.
